Biography

Alex Dion is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter and alternative Pop artist, born in Paris, France.

Known for his distinctive style and mesmerizing harmonies, Alex crafts music that transcends genres, blending funk, pop, soul, R&B influences. His inspirations include legends such as Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, Barry White, Justin Timberlake, James Brown, AliciaKeys, and Daniel Caesar shaping a sound that is both emotionally rich and deeply personal.

Over the past four years, Alex has lived between Canada where he pursued his studies, the United-States home to part of his family, and France his birthplace.

In 2022, Alex faced a life-changing challenge when diagnosed with autoimmune pancreatitis.

Determined to pursue his passion, he channeled his energy into music and began working on his debut EP in Montreal and collaborated with the Canadian musician Daniel Barbe in 2022.

By 2023, he returned to Paris, joining forces with Joël Fagerman, recognized in particular for the composition of « Burn », Juice WRLD and Erwan Le Marc’hadour for his magnificence version of « Imagine », Ray Charles.

From the unlikely meeting between Alex, a raw diamond of young talent, with Joël & Erwan, two producers from another time, emerged a extraordinary collaboration that gave birth to songs of unparalleled intensity and uniqueness.

His debut EP is also enriched by the expertise of talented sound engineers Steve Forward (Paris-London), and Patrice Kung whose credits include iconic artists.

Alex possesses a rare gift : the ability to create intricate, heartfelt melodies effortlessly. His songs are a vibrant tapestry of joy, sadness, and hope, resonating deeply with listeners across genres.

His upcoming 8-tracks EP features titles such as Ride, Like a comet, Goddess of Pain, You Don’t Know, One Day I’ll Be Gone, Blade, and Set the World on Fire. Each track is a journey through raw emotion, carried by Alex’s soulful voice and evocative lyrics.
